Thermoplastic polyolefin roofing (TPO) is a white, single ply roofing membrane, commonly used in flat or nearly flat roofs to prevent leaks and move water off the roof. The reflective qualities are able to reduce energy costs. By allowing more light to bounce off of a building instead of absorbing it, companies are able to consume less gas or electricity to cool their buildings.
TPO roofing systems have been shown to save as much as $250,000 over a 10 year period in warmer climates like Florida and Texas.
